The Lower Deck is currently seeking a Cook who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in preparing delicious comfort food.

What you will be doing:

• prepping food items for service
• preparing food to order
• maintaining a clean work area
• preparing food according to standardized recipes and menu specifications
• adjusting cooking methods based on customer preferences or dietary restrictions
• collaborating with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• completing all mandatory food hygiene and safety training that must be kept up to date
• such other similar or related duties as may be required from time to time.

The person we are looking for has:

• experience working in a fast-paced kitchen as a line cook or prep cook
• a passion for food
• knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Food Safe Certification
