The Lower Deck is currently seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward to join our dynamic back-of-house team. In this vital role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, ensuring our culinary team has everything they need to deliver a great dining experience.

What you will be doing:

• Operating dishwashers efficiently
• Cleaning and sanitizing dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks
• Responsible for receiving, stocking and organizing food and supply orders
• Safely handling and storing cleaning products
• General dish area maintenance which includes sweeping, mopping, organization and removal of garbage and compost

The person we are looking for has:

• Previous experience working in a dishwasher role or similar environment an asset\
• The ability to take direction and remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills and an ability to multi-task
• Able to spend 100% of the time standing
• The ability to handle heavy lifting up 50 lbs
