Position Title: Warehouse Worker
Location: Richmond, BC, V6V 3A7
Rate of Pay: Starting minimum $20/Hour
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Worker is primarily responsible for preparing orders for shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse, freezer, and cooler areas.
- Load and unload products
- Ensure the quality of the received product is up to standard and dates are correct before processing.
- Delivering products to customers when required.
- Maintain all standards to meet and exceed Halal certifications.
- Package products to customer specifications.
- Ensure proper weight, description, and date is recorded on the products label.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Willingness to work with raw meat products.
- Willingness to work in a cold environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
- Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
- Previous work experience is an asset but not required.
- Training will be provided.
