Position Title: Order Assembly
Location: Edmonton, A.B. T6B 3N9
Job Type: Full Time Permanent - Night Shift
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager or designate, the duties and responsibilities of the Order Assembler will include but will not be limited to:
- Operating a pallet jack and/or forklift pick products to the specifications of customer orders and verifying product numbers.
- Receive delivered inventory and monitor for any problems.
- Put stock away and rotate accordingly.
- Prepare orders for delivery or shipping, following company policies.
- Follow safety and sanitation programs in the warehouse.
- Complete all required logs and reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Willingness to work with raw meat products.
- Willingness to work in a cold environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
- Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
- Previous work experience is an asset but not required.
- Training will be provided.
- Commitment to safety standards and practices.
- Forklift certification preferred (training provided).
- First Aid certification would be considered an asset.
