OVERVIEW

 

As Marketing Coordinator, your key responsibility is to execute integrated marketing strategies that play a crucial role in enhancing brand visibility and driving product sell-through for our leading alloy wheel brands, tires, and accessories. This involves coordinating Fastco's participation in events and tradeshows across Canada, crafting compelling point-of-purchase (POP) materials for retail and overseeing the development of promotional items. Beyond these initiatives, you will also coordinate our staff education program, ensuring that retail sales associates are well-equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively market our products.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Events and Sponsorships 40%

  • Coordinate Fastco’s presence at events and tradeshows across Canada to build brands and strengthen engagement with consumers and retailers.
  • Attend events and tradeshows for Fastco, ensuring strong brand presence and engagement with consumers / retailers.
  • Coordinate product orders for events, sponsorship deals and photoshoots with Customer Service department.
  • Prepare event postmortems and share with key internal stakeholders.

 

Trade Marketing 30%

  • Develop branded promotional items offering for marketing use with retail partners and at events.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop point-of-purchase (POP) displays to drive brand awareness and product sell thru at retail. Gather quotes from suppliers, prepare shipping distribution lists and ensure timely delivery of marketing materials to retail locations.
  • Execute trade marketing projects, including window graphics, with Fastco’s retail partners and suppliers.

 

Staff Education 30%

  • In conjunction with Technical Services and Product Development departments, develop training materials to educate retail sales associates on wheels, tires and accessories.
  • Execute marketing initiatives to drive awareness and retail adoption of Fastco’s staff education program.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting, grammar, and proofreading in French and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Previous experience in event marketing or trade marketing is an asset.


CONDITIONS

 

  • This hybrid position entails working three days per week from the office and two days per week remotely. Specifically, the on-site requirement is from Tuesday to Thursday at the Fastco Canada headquarters in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC.
  • This position requires frequent travel across Canada to support Fastco’s event presence.
  • This position requires overtime, including evenings and weekends, to support Fastco’s presence at trade shows and events.
