Details: Temporary, Days, 37.50 hours per week, 8AM to 4PM (This is a 6-month temporary position)

Location: Central Services, 14220 - 109 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T5N 4B3

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare tender documents in collaboration with the project lead (ASHC document process & GEF internal tender process).
  • Confirm funding allocations in place prior to posting (working collaboratively with Finance).
  • Issue and post tenders on APC or by invite.
  • Respond to questions and issue addendums.
  • Evaluate tender documents and provide recommendations.
  • Create purchase orders in Yardi and upload relevant documents.
  • Upload relevant procurement documents in Yardi and the Construction module.
  • Attend and conduct pre-bid meetings.
  • Coordinate with sites for accessibility if suite access is required.
  • Create vendor evaluation processes and assist with policy and procedures.
  • Assist in creating Standing Offer Agreements.
  • Help streamline the terms and conditions within current tender documents.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with contractors and internal customers.
  • Conduct research on products and services for unique procurement needs.
  • Perform other procurement and finance-related duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Preferences:

  • Certification in procurement required.
  • Proficient in tendering processes and skilled in evaluating bid responses.
  • Knowledge of APC preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Yardi experience is an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage procurement tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for both internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel for pre-bid meetings as required.
  • Experience supporting vendor performance tracking and procurement analytics.
