Schedule:                  Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (flexible as required)

Job Summary:

 

The Supply Planner is responsible to provide consistently short- and medium-term finite capacity-constrained production plans in accordance with the availability of resources (production lines/labor) and materials, taking into consideration the company’s commitment to our seven Core Values such as Sustainability (people, the planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement a detailed supply plan that mainly driven by sales forecast with level-load on constrained resource in the current manufacturing and operation systems.
  • Create, confirmed and issue jobs according to available resources (materials, labor, capacity, etc.)
  • Ensure that finished and semi-finished goods are available to meet customer demand whilst minimizing cost.
  • Respond to major unexpected stock-out or forecast change in a timely manner with inputs from internal stakeholders.
  • Provide timely and accurate details on supply changes, constraints, and product availability to internal customers.
  • Drive stability in an MRP system with Demand and Inventory Planning
  • Review and analyze planning data and parameters to ensure master data is accurate and updated in a timely manner.
  • Generate supply plans to focus on Service Level Targets – Inventory levels for FG and Bulk and OOS at the cost agreed by the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and implement process improvements.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Technical

  • Completed bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Supply Chain experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various elements of supply-chain in a diversified manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Experience with MRP systems preferably with Syspro.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications.
  • APICS or equivalent Operating Management Certification (an asset).

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbally and in writing
  • Strong problem solving, math, negotiation and interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Self-starter and detail-oriented, in a team-oriented environment, with frequent changes in deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to think globally and strategically with a perspective of the business beyond SKU level, with leadership and change mind-set
  • Maintain a practical perspective with prioritization and sense of urgency while working on details.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
