The Town of High River is seeking qualified Fitness Instructors for Yoga, Barre and Pilates for classes starting in September 2025. Day and times are flexible.

Rates starting at $44.79 per unit (a unit is a course up to two hours) 

Key responsibilities and expectations

• Develop, implement, and instruct the class within the scope of certification
• Organize the set up and take down required for activities, including, ensuring adequate equipment and supplies are available
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all areas used for programs
• Ensure the safety of program participants at all times
• Follow program policies and procedures 
• Participate in the evaluation and recommendations for programs
• Provide a high standard of customer service

• Perform other related duties assigned

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Fitness/Wellness certification required for discipline of the class being instructed
• High Five® Principals of Healthy Childhood Development Certification (8 hours) and/or High Five® Principals of Healthy Aging Certification (8 hours); whichever is relevant to the demographics of the class being instructed
• Standard First Aid, CPR Level C/AED
• Demonstrated organization and leadership skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
