Position Overview

We are looking for part-time Night Cleaner, under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager. The Night Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining various areas of the hotel, ensuring a pleasant experience for both guests and staff, making sure all guest needs are meet at a 4-star standard service hotel. There will be some duties that are required to be done daily and others that only are needed on a case-by-case basis.

Location: Canmore

Shifts: Part-time 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Flexibility of 4 hours between these times).

Wage: $21 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintaining cleanliness of the main hotel lobby, which includes general upkeep and garbage removal.
• Clean and maintain the public washrooms, which includes refilling toilet paper and garbage removal.
• Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant area by sweeping, mopping, wiping tables, and tidying pillows etc.
• Clean the kitchen area by wiping down surfaces, cleaning floors, and ensuring general cleanliness etc.
• Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to MTN House standards and timelines during the night shift.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to work well independently with little supervision and complete work at a 4-star standard.
• Able to manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time including walking, kneeling, bending, lifting, crouching, reaching, and pulling.
• Ability to work in teams if necessary, including sharing tools and equipment.
• Must be able to work during night shifts (11 PM to 3 AM) on a regular basis.
