Senior Programmer (Contract, In-Person)

Position Type: Independent Contractor

What We’re Looking For
A proactive and experienced developer with a solid grasp of both legacy and modern technologies, who can help as we modernize our shipping system and related applications.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in:
• ASPX
• PHP
• API
• VB.NET and C#
• SQL database
• Microsoft 365 environment
• Crystal Reports
• Source/version control systems such as Git
• Experience building web applications using ASPX, PHP
• Experience building API's
• Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills – you're someone who can dig into code, understand how things work, and build applications that meet the user's need
• Solid communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Experience creating clear technical documentation.
• A systems thinker – able to see the big picture while keeping track of the details.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• A customer-service mindset – responsive, professional, and solutions-oriented.
• Previous experience thriving in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.

Location: Due to the nature of this project, you’ll be required to work on-site. Cardinal’s head office is located at 6600 Goreway Drive, Unit D, Mississauga, ON L4V 1S6 (Derry Road and Goreway Drive).
