We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist – Remote. You will have the flexibility to work remotely or from one of our offices in a hybrid arrangement.
What will you do?
Reporting to the Director, Digital & Delivery, you will play a key role in driving CFIB’s digital marketing efforts, including content strategy, campaign execution, and digital engagement. You will be responsible for developing high-performing digital campaigns, optimizing web content for user experience and SEO, and supporting lead generation, brand awareness, and member engagement strategies across multiple channels.
Responsibilities:
- Create compelling, SEO-optimized content for blogs, emails, landing pages, social media, and digital ads.
- Write clear, conversion-focused copy that aligns with CFIB’s voice and goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Use A/B testing and analytics to refine messaging and improve performance.
- Plan and manage digital campaigns across paid search, social media, display, and email.
- Optimize landing pages and user experience to drive conversions.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and recommend improvements.
- Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to increase visibility.
- Track and report on performance using tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot.
- Provide insights on ROI, user engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
- Apply conversion rate optimization (CRO) to enhance website and campaign results.
- Collaborate with marketing, IT, and business teams in an agile, cross-functional environment.
- Participate in sprint planning and team meetings to align on priorities.
- Use data and feedback to continuously improve digital strategies.
- Test and implement new digital tools and AI-driven technologies.
- Maintain a digital marketing calendar aligned with business objectives.
- Support integration of marketing automation platforms and digital systems.
What makes a successful Digital Marketing Specialist?
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or digital communications.
- Proven ability to create high-quality, engaging, and results-driven content.
- Expertise in SEO, email marketing, marketing automation, and paid media strategies.
- Proficiency with HubSpot, Google Analytics, CMS platforms, and social media tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in performance tracking and optimization.
- Excellent storytelling, copywriting, and content development skills.
- Strategic mindset with an ability to balance creativity and data-driven decisions.
- Tech-savvy and eager to explore new trends and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to handle confidential CFIB and member data with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience with small business audiences is a strong asset.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and UX/UI principles is an asset.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
- Occasionally available outside regular hours to support deployments or urgent needs.
