đź”§ What You’ll Be Leading:

Strategic Vision: Create and execute a smart, goal-oriented departmental plan aligned with our company’s vision—including Operating and Capital budgets.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with leaders and team members across departments to identify needs, close gaps, and implement impactful solutions.

Proactive Maintenance: Anticipate repairs, prioritize projects, and champion preventative maintenance—keeping us one step ahead.

Smart Resource Management: Ensure we stay within budget while getting the most out of our resources.

Compliance & Safety: Lead the charge in maintaining health, safety, and employment regulation compliance (WCB, OH&S, etc.).

Team Leadership: Inspire, coach, and grow a high-performing team. Set goals, delegate effectively, and foster a culture of excellence.

Guest Experience Champion: Address guest concerns swiftly, remove service barriers, and contribute to a flawless guest experience.

Adapt and Overcome: Stay flexible and focused during peak periods, special events, and unexpected challenges.

âś… What You Bring to the Team:

Energy & Endurance: You’re physically active, hands-on, and ready for whatever the day throws at you.

Relevant Education: Secondary School Diploma required; a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Trade Credentials: Certification in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or refrigeration? Even better.

Leadership Experience: At least 3 years at Journeyman level and 2+ years leading a team.

Contracting Know-How: Solid experience coordinating contractors and sub-trades.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with MS Office, budgeting, and forecasting.

Safety & Compliance: WHMIS certified with a strong grasp of regulatory best practices.

Solution-Oriented Mindset: A calm, confident approach to challenges and conflict resolution.

Scheduling Flexibility: Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
