Are you passionate about the land and driven to make a real difference in environmental restoration?  

 

We're looking for an Environmental Scientist who thrives in the field, excels in team leadership, and brings a sharp eye for detail to support reclamation and remediation programs across Northern BC. 

In this role, based out of our Fort St. John office, you’ll be a key member of our Environmental Consulting team—leading field programs, mentoring junior staff, and applying your technical skills to deliver meaningful outcomes for our clients and the environment. 

Make a Difference      

  • Coordinate and complete vegetation management and Detailed Site Assessments assessing landscape, soils and vegetation
  • Completion or management of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
  • Maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Provide technical expertise for reclamation programs
  • Collaborate with team to execute remediation and reclamation projects in Northern BC
  • Create reclamation work plans and reclamation reporting/review as a professional
  • Foster a culture committed to HSE excellence every day
  • Interpretation of analytical results 
 

Utilize your Education and Expertise 

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in science or land reclamation
  • 3+ year’s field experience with environmental site assessments, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, site remediation and reclamation
  • Experience operating and maintaining Argos
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and guidelines
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and technical writing skills
  • Registration with or ability to register with a professional body
  • Driven by obsession of excellence and deep sense of accountability
  • Emphasis on team accomplishments over individual success
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated cost control processes
  • Good sense of humour and a strong admiration of our Mullet Culture is an asset.
