The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and testing electrical wiring and power distribution equipment systems, lighting systems, control systems, motor drives and associated control systems, stand-by power systems and associated equipment and communications systems ensuring work is completed to regulatory, manufacturer and company standards.

When: Monday to Friday 3 pm to 12 midnight, on call as required and predicated by business needs
Starting Wage: $44.19/hour
What’s expected:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and test electrical wiring and circuits and power distribution equipment systems, lighting systems, control systems, motor drives and associated control systems, stand-by power systems and associated equipment and communications systems ensuring work is completed to regulatory electrical safety standards, manufacturer and company standards.
- Reviews and interprets electrical schematics;
- Performs the forgoing on production and other equipment, not limited to, baler, shredder, scales, aggregate dryer, screening plants, stackers and chop line equipment.
- Evaluate and map out tasks including sourcing and purchasing of electrical components and related materials in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Review task plans accordingly and presents task map to Supervisor/Manager for approval;

Complete Purchase Requisitions and obtains appropriate approvals.
- Attend and participate in electrical safety standard audits and report corrective action measures to Manager.
- Accompanies inspectors, during site visits.
- Represents the Company in the role of subject matter expert.
- Completes repairs or modifications that may arise from site visits.
- Responsible for the operation of scissor lift or skyjack equipment in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures:
- Completes Pre-Operational Equipment Checklists and submits to supervision
- Operate equipment is a safe, efficient and effective manner
What's Required:
- 309A (Construction & Maintenance) ticket
- 5 – 6 years previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to operate scissor lift or skyjack equipment
- Panel building would be considered as a strong asset
- Knowledge of industry related production equipment an asset
