SVP, Asset Transactions and Leasing

This role will provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction to the Asset Transactions & Leasing team, ensuring transparency, fairness, and value for money in all transactions.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee strategic real estate programs and manage decision-making processes related to a high volume of acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, easement and licensing transactions.
  • Understand market variations and provide direction on all transactions.
  • Develop, coach, and motivate a team of high-caliber professionals.
  • Ensure transactions always reflect best business practices, fairness, transparency and value for money.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Honours bachelor's degree in business, or related disciplines
  • Extensive experience in Asset Management and Transaction Management in the broader public sector.
  • Real Estate Industry Recognized certifications such as RECO, CCIM, the Canadian Urban Institute.
  • Strong skills in managing relationships and negotiating complex transactions.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead successful outcomes.
