Position Purpose

As an Advisor, Partnerships, you will play a key role in supporting Infrastructure Ontario’s (IO) strategic engagement efforts. You will coordinate and optimize internal processes that support project intake, client engagement, and partnership development. Your work will directly contribute to the success of high-profile initiatives and help shape IO’s relationships with key partners across government and industry.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate the Intake & Triage Process: Collaborate with project leads across IO to prepare new projects for strategic review. Support the development of materials for executive decision-making and continuously improve intake tools and databases.
  • Maintain the Client Conversation Tracker (CCT): Ensure accurate data entry, follow-up tracking, and system improvements. Deliver training and support to internal teams to promote effective use of the CCT.
  • Support the Client Assessment & Market Survey: Assist in procurement, scheduling, and material development for this annual initiative. Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to ensure timely and effective execution.
  • Facilitate Partnership Meetings: Work with Partnerships Managers to plan and execute internal and external meetings. Develop agendas, align priorities, and support strategic discussions with ministry and agency partners.
  • Drive Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance coordination and collaboration across IO divisions. Partner with IT and Data & Analytics teams to implement system enhancements and optimize workflows.

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • Professional Learnings: Demonstrated knowledge and appreciation of public policy, political science, or related fields through relevant professional development or experience.
  • Experience: A few years’ experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, or public sector environments. Familiarity with ministry or agency operations is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Experience with SharePoint or similar collaboration tools is an asset.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels and across departments. Skilled in adapting to different working styles and managing sensitive communications.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify trends, analyze data, and contribute to strategic recommendations. Comfortable navigating complex organizational dynamics and aligning diverse priorities.

The hiring range for this position is $71,300 - $107,000 with a corresponding job level of P3.
