This position pays: $26.52 - $31.72/hour
A Day In The Life of A Logistics Coordinator
- Participate in milestone planning and assist in the coordination of logistics activities including strategy, planning, training, technical manuals and provisioning
- Purchasing all packaging supply materials for Distribution
- Inventory management – ensure critical materials are in stock
- Break down invoices and ensure the costs are input into the correct account strings for processing
- Keep track of temporary labor hired and reconcile at the end of each month for billing
- Assist in developing and managing vendors and service providers
- Develop and maintain work order documentation to ensure records are accurate and up to date
- You will work a set shift of Monday to Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm
What We're Looking For From You:
- Strong ability to build and collect information into reports and databases
- Well-developed problem solving, mathematical and analytical skills
- Transportation: Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by ground, air or sea including costs, advantages and limitations
- Knowledge of logistical and distribution warehouse procedures
- Effective communication in the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to shift priorities based on the changing demands and needs of the department
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of shipping integration systems, order databases, Cognos, SYSPRO, OLP, OLC is considered an asset
