Flight Attendant
Established in 1960, Perimeter Aviation LP is a diversified company that is a subsidiary of the Exchange Income Corporation which has recently grown through the merger with Bearskin Airlines. With approximately 900 employees, we operate a fleet of 45+ aircraft including the Metro 2, 3, 23, Merlin and Dash 8 aircraft. We are based in Winnipeg and Thompson, Manitoba as well as Sioux Lookout, Timmins, Thunder Bay, and Toronto Ontario. We provide scheduled passenger and freight services to Northern Manitoba and Northern Ontario, 24/7 North American charter services, Medical evacuation services and a full-service maintenance facility including design engineering, NDT, and Garrett turbine engine services.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Flight Attendant Manager, the Flight Attendants are ambassadors of safety and customer service onboard each Perimeter flight. Perimeter Flight Attendants take pride in putting their best foot forward to offer a safe and comfortable environment for all passengers; they make an immediate and lasting positive impression.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Participate in crew briefings and obtain necessary flight information
- Conduct pre-flight checks of the aircraft and ensure that all emergency and safety equipment and commissary are prepared for flight
- Make safety and service announcements/demonstrations
- Prepare cabin for take-off, landing and monitoring inflight
- Offer a selection of snacks and beverages, and ensure the safekeeping of revenues obtained during flight in an organized and professional manner
- Provide leadership, direction and assistance to passengers and colleagues
- Cabin preparation and grooming
- Pre-flight and post-flight paperwork
- Stock and re-stock the aircraft commissary
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and all regulatory requirements
- Ability to successfully complete a minimum four-week initial training program including written and practical exams
- Demonstrate sensitivity to the unique environmental, cultural and business needs of diverse northern cultures and communities
- Assist in the offloading of freight if necessary
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
- Minimum one to two years Customer Service experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations
- Must possess a valid passport
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset
Working Conditions
- Physically able to perform all listed job duties
- Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be able to travel for extended periods
- Work performed both indoors and outdoors; employee must be able to adapt to all outdoor weather conditions
- Able to work independently as Perimeter Aviation utilizes a single flight attendant environment
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
