About the Role:

We are looking to recruit for a full-time position as Assistant Marketing Manager based in our Amsterdam Office.

The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting the Sr. Marketing Manager with developing marketing calendars and the day-to-day assistant concerning the execution of these innovative and strategic programs to increase sales and build brand equity for the Subway Brand. This will be accomplished through implementation of national advertising, product development pipelines, consumer insights data and measured on KPIs. The Assistant Marketing Manager will partner with key stakeholders in the franchisee community, advertising agencies, IPC and the SMO and Ops Teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Campaign execution: Execute EMEA campaigns for NL including POP material, technical setups, FZE comms and more. Assist with other markets as requested.
  • Assist with marketing projects as required or lead own marketing projects.
  • Value: Support the marketing leadership team in managing the objective of traffic by developing and implementing value offers on different channels.
  • Administrative support: Utilizing existing tools, manage, track progress of and communicate cross-functionally. Look for efficiencies in processes and make recommendations where appropriate. Support with budget management and new vendor set up. Promptly answering questions to various stakeholders. Assists in writing and editing marketing materials, which include presentations and reports.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business.
  • Must have 2 to 6 years’ experience in foodservice, retail or franchisee experience - preferably with agency or corporate brand marketing/field marketing teams in the Netherlands.
  • Excellent organizational & communication skills.
  • Skills using Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to work across various markets within Europe as required.
  • Must have legal authority to work in the Netherlands.
  • Language: English & Dutch is a must; any other language is a plus.
