DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

Job Mandate
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage infrastructure that supports our scalable and secure applications. This role bridges traditional infrastructure operations with modern DevOps practices, ensuring reliability, automation, and efficiency across development and production environments. You will be responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automating deployments, managing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting production systems with a strong emphasis on reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Major Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployments across environments (on-prem and cloud).
- Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployment (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Manage and support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), including compute resources, networking, storage, IAM, and monitoring.
- Maintain observability and monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across the stack (compute, storage, network, OS).
- Collaborate with other IT teams (e.g., application support, security, Infrastructure) to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Collaborate with developers, SREs, and security teams to ensure platform stability and security.
- Apply and enforce DevOps best practices, including version control, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
- Perform regular reviews of system performance, cost optimization, and capacity planning.
- Participate in on-call support rotation and incident response.

Required Qualifications
