HVAC VRF Service Sales Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable HVAC VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) Service Salesperson to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, with specific expertise in VRF technology, and the ability to effectively sell service and maintenance contracts along with turn key work to commercial clients. The Salesperson will focus on generating new business, developing relationships with key accounts, and ensuring the continued success of our service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development: Generate new leads and opportunities for HVAC VRF service contracts within assigned territories by prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial clients, contractors, and property managers to understand their HVAC service needs.
- Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of VRF systems, HVAC technologies, and related service offerings to effectively communicate solutions to clients.
- Proposal Creation: Prepare and present detailed service proposals, cost estimates, and contract negotiations for maintenance, repair, and service of VRF HVAC systems.
- Contract Renewals: Manage and renew service contracts, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and client retention.
- Collaborate with Technical Teams: Work closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure the proper execution of services and follow-through on contract deliverables.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to tailor sales strategies accordingly.
- Customer Support: Provide ongoing customer support, ensuring any post-sales service issues are addressed promptly.
- Sales Reporting: Track sales activity, lead generation, and pipeline progression, providing regular updates to the Sales Manager and leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in HVAC sales, specifically in VRF systems, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC VRF technology, system installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Sales Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to close deals and build client relationships.
- Customer Focused: A passion for providing exceptional service and solving customer challenges with tailored HVAC solutions.
- Self-Motivated: Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial and residential HVAC markets and service operations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC certification or technical degree is a plus.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with CRM software, MS Office, and sales tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with VRF system installations, commissioning, and service.
- Sales experience in the service or maintenance contracts sector.
- Strong industry network and understanding of local markets.
