Engineering Technician (12 Month Contract)

The Position:
Neelands is searching for Engineering Technician (12 Month Contract) reporting to our Engineering Manager in our Burlington, Ontario office. The Engineering Technician will provide deliverables to the various departments.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings in support of engineering management deliverables
- Create/modify refrigeration schedules
- Refrigeration Calculations
- Work with project managers to prepare project estimates
- Prepare as-builts/close out documents
- Manage bid requests and timelines
- Maintain up-to-date technical library
Qualifications:
- College diploma
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to effectively liaise with project managers, contractors and vendors
- The ability to ensure compliance with all standards and specifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Well organized, able to multi-task, and have strong problem-solving capabilities
- Valid Ontario driver’s license
