Account Manager, Filtration
Primary Purpose: The Account Manager is responsible for customer satisfaction for assigned segment and market to achieve company established sales goals and targets. Will partner with customers and sales team to win business that will separate us from competitors through presenting our value-added services, consultative solutions selling, and industry expertise.
Essential Job Functions:
Customer Relationship Management
• Partner with Territory Managers to achieve sales targets and KPIs for the assigned territory and customer accounts.
• Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and product requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Provide product and application training to customers and internal teams as needed.
• Present the company's unique value proposition to customers and prospects.
• Regularly provide customer feedback and market intelligence to inform sales strategies and product development.
• Work closely with Territory Managers and internal teams to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in regular meetings and contribute to strategy development for key accounts.
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to build relationships as necessary.
Order Management
• Process customer orders, including order changes, cancellations, and adjustments, using the ERP system.
• Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM and ERP systems, including order history and contact details.
• Monitor open orders and coordinate with the purchasing and operations teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Provide support to the sales department by managing administrative tasks such as entering orders, generating quotes, and following up with customers on pending orders.

Education and Work Experience: High school diploma or GED. Work experience should include a minimum of two (2) years in a business-to-business sales or sales support role, preferably in a related industry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent sales skills and techniques, oral and written communication skills. Must be able to develop and maintain accurate and detailed product and product application knowledge. A proven willingness and ability to make sound business judgments. Exhibits a high level of integrity, mutual respect, and employee teamwork at all times. Displays a professional image. Demonstrates a strong commitment to meeting or exceeding company expectations, goals and objectives. Knowledge of computers and ERP systems. Must have strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills. Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future sales and decision making.
