What You Will Do:
- Site Management Maintain an organized and efficient job site, including the construction office. Oversee site setup at the start and ensure proper site demobilization at project completion.
- Safety Leadership Ensure all employees, subcontractors, and contractors adhere to company safety policies and promote a culture of safety on-site.
- Scheduling & Problem Solving Prepare and maintain the construction schedule, identifying issues early and implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
- Budget Oversight Operate within the approved budget, managing resources efficiently and ensuring cost control throughout the project.
- Material & Utility Coordination Request and order materials as needed to maintain productivity. Coordinate and schedule service installations with utility providers.
- Quality & Accountability Ensure high standards of workmanship across all trades and hold subcontractors and contractors accountable for their work.
- Communication & Reporting Work closely with Head Office, maintain open communication with all departments, and provide progress reports and updates as requested.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Technical Knowledge Thorough understanding of project plans, specifications, and blueprints, along with familiarity with applicable building codes in the province of employment.
- Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in residential and/or commercial construction in a supervisory role.
- Attention to Detail Highly detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills Strong ability to collaborate with various teams, trades, and stakeholders on-site and off-site.
- Resilience Under Pressure Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
