Loss Prevention Coordinator
Location: Toronto Warehouse
Department: Operations / Loss Prevention
Reports To: Warehouse Leadership and Human Resources
The Warehouse Security & Loss Prevention Associate plays a key role in ensuring the safety, security, and loss prevention of our Toronto warehouse. This role is responsible for enforcing physical security protocols, monitoring compliance, conducting audits, and supporting investigations. The position is based in a secure office space within the warehouse and requires strong attention to detail, discretion, and adherence to safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain the physical security of the warehouse by overseeing access control and conducting routine surveillance.

Monitor and operate alarm systems and camera equipment, ensuring alignment with physical security protocols.

Conduct scheduled interior and exterior perimeter walks to identify safety or security risks.

Monitor and report on employee compliance with safety policies, escalating issues to Human Resources and warehouse leadership as needed.

Complete and document daily, weekly, and monthly security audits.

Investigate safety and security incidents, supporting incident resolution and root cause identification.

Assist in identifying and preventing internal losses within the warehouse environment.

Provide fire watch duties during emergencies in disabled areas, as required.

Support store-related investigations and collaborate with other loss prevention personnel.

Take on additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Work Environment & Schedule

Based strictly onsite at the Toronto warehouse.

Work is performed in a quiet, secured office setting within a remote section of the warehouse.

Average work week is 40–45 hours, with flexibility based on business and operational needs.
Qualifications

Prior experience in security, loss prevention, or warehouse operations preferred.

Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and alarm systems is an asset.

Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.

Excellent observation, communication, and reporting skills.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations.
