This position pays: $31.25 - $43.27/Hourly

 

A Day In The Life of a Content Specialist:

  • Content Strategy: Develop, implement and manage online content strategy, ensuring brand consistency across platforms driving maximum ROI
  • Content Creation: Research, write and edit engaging content and create or improve creative assets, always ensuring FDA/FTC compliance
  • Marketplace Content: Create, edit and optimize marketplace content, primarily focused on Amazon, for product listings, brand store and marketing initiatives
  • Social Media Content: Plan, manage, write and create authentic, concise consumer-focused social media content and engage with audiences
  • Online Properties and Initiatives: Content creation and management for websites, D2C initiatives, blogs, email campaigns, media, retailers and other online initiatives, as needed.
  • Keywords & SEO: Research, analyze and incorporate relevant keywords, search trends and relevant strategies to ensure content is optimized for SEO
  • Consumer Insights: Research and identify target audiences, personas and customer journey stages and leverage this in content creation
  • Compliance: Ensure content adheres to social media and other online policies, industry regulatory requirements and marketplace policies
  • Analytics: Establish content and campaign KPIs, generate regular reports and insights using analytics tools, identify trends and opportunities and leverage data to deliver effective content and support continuous improvement
  • You will work a set schedule of Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Hybrid option available for local candidates; remote option available for non-local candidates

 

What We're Looking For From You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field   preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with effective content strategy, creation, writing, editing and publishing with a focus on online channels required
  • Demonstrated experience creating accurate, relevant, creative, SEO-driven, research supported content
  • Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing and digital marketing strategies, preferably within the CPG industry.
  • Omnichannel experience in nutrition and dietary supplements and strong FDA/FTC compliance knowledge preferred
  • Analytical skills to measure content performance, create reports, extract insights and identify trends and opportunities
  • Proven project management and prioritization skills, including meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong proficiency with content management systems (ideally Salsify), analytics tools (Sprout Social, Meta Business Manager and Google analytics) and email marketing preferred
  • Professional proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook and Sharepoint) required
