Shipping - Outbound Logistics Coordinator

Reporting to the Shipping Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will oversee all Customer shipments to ensure continuity and quick delivery. Coordinating, tracking and responding to shipping questions pertaining to lost items, claims, damages, or delayed shipments.

He performs other related duties as requested by his immediate supervisor, all in accordance with internal procedures and rules.

Logistics 95 %

• Follow up on all outbound deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.
• Orchestrate customer return deliveries.
• Process claims for lost or damaged goods and ask credits for missed pickups that we got invoiced.
• Manage and book all transfers to our Calgary, and Pickering warehouses.
• Resolves problems associated with transportation, customer problems and logistics systems.
• Enters pertinent information in 2Ship when required.
• Manage customer expectations regarding tracking information and follow-ups.
• Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of materials to keep costs down when possible.
• Shop for rates and provide quotes for larger orders and for customer service (LTL, regular, express)
• Assist accounting with retrieving proofs of deliveries

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Logistics, Transportation, or a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and French.
• Experience in SAP, by Design or similar Process based software.
• Good knowledge of the tire and wheel industry would be an asset.
